A logo alone does not make a brand. Only when colours, typefaces, imagery and layouts work together do customers recognise you at a glance, whether on a label on the shelf, in an Instagram feed or in Google search. That is exactly what we design for: a brand presence that does not just look good but works in everyday use.

digtatur is an advertising agency in Vienna and works for restaurants and cafés, retailers, trades and service providers. On this page you will find out what graphic design includes with us, what it costs, how long it takes, which files you receive and what to look for when choosing a provider.

What you get

A logo with a system

Your logo comes in several variants (light, dark, horizontal, square) so that it works on any background and at any size.

Corporate design with rules

Colours, typefaces, spacing and image style are documented, so that third parties can also apply your brand correctly.

Packaging and labels

We design labels and packaging and coordinate the files with your printer, so there are no surprises at print.

Social media templates

You receive editable templates for posts, stories and reel covers that you or your team can fill in yourselves.

Print-ready and web-ready

All files come in the right formats and colour spaces, from the vector logo to the print PDF.

Clear rights

Usage rights, rounds of revisions and scope of delivery are set out in the quote in advance, with no small print.

What does graphic design at digtatur include?

We design everything that makes your brand visible. That ranges from a first logo through a complete corporate design to individual marketing materials. Typical projects are:

  • Logo with variants and clear space
  • Corporate design with colour palette, typefaces, image style and application examples
  • Labels and packaging, from the bottle to the folding carton
  • Printed materials such as flyers, folders, menus, business cards and posters
  • Social media graphics and templates for posts, stories and covers

For us, graphic design is part of the web design and graphic design pillar. That has a practical advantage: what we develop for your logo, we can carry straight through to your website and your social media channels if you wish.

Who benefits from professional graphic design?

Anyone who wants to win customers and needs a presence that builds trust. The people who come to us most often are:

  • Founders who need a logo and a basic set of materials
  • Restaurants and cafés with menus, table stands, social media graphics and window decals
  • Retailers and manufacturers who package or label products
  • Trades and service providers with vehicles, printed materials and a website
  • Established businesses whose presence has grown over the years and become inconsistent

If your logo looks different on the flyer than on the website, if every employee builds their own templates, or if your packaging gets lost on the shelf, a reworked brand presence is usually the most effective investment. In a relaunch, we keep what is recognised and improve what does not work.

What does graphic design cost in Vienna?

Our prices are “from” prices, all net, plus 20 % VAT. The final price depends on the scope and is set out as binding in the quote before the project starts.

ServicePrice (net)
Logofrom 390 €
Corporate designfrom 990 €
Labels and packaging designfrom 290 €
Individual graphics (flyer, menu etc.)from 90 €

What influences the price: the number of variants, the range of applications (for example ten labels instead of one), the effort for research and coordination, and the number of rounds of revisions. You will find an overview of all services on the pricing page. If you briefly describe what you need, we will give you a concrete figure in the free initial consultation.

Logo or corporate design: what do I need?

A logo is the identifying mark. A corporate design is the set of rules behind it. It defines what your brand looks like when it appears on paper, on screen, on a vehicle or on packaging.

A logo is enough if you are starting small, need few marketing materials and can oversee the application yourself. A corporate design is worthwhile as soon as several people create material, several channels are in use or you want to grow. It usually contains:

  • Logo variants, clear space and minimum sizes
  • Colour palette with values for print and screen
  • Typefaces and hierarchies for headings and body text
  • Image style and rules for photos and graphics
  • Application examples, such as a business card, social media post or presentation

You can start small and expand later. A logo from us can be developed into a corporate design at any time.

How does packaging and label design work?

Packaging design is more technical than a flyer, because material, shape and printing method help determine what is possible. That is why we start with the key data: format, material, printing method, mandatory information and quantity. After that come drafts, coordination with the printer and the preparation of the print files.

Typical tasks are labels for bottles, tins and jars, adhesive labels, folding cartons, pouches and shipping packaging. Important: legally required information (for example on food) is supplied by you or your manufacturer. We plan the space for it and design the surface, but we do not check the legal correctness of the content.

One example from our work is the shop produktverpackung.com, a B2B project all about packaging. There you can see how product presentation and brand presence work together. Label and packaging design starts at 290 € net with us.

Which file formats and colour spaces will I receive?

You receive the files in a form that lets you carry on without us. The scope of delivery depends on the project, but usually includes:

  • Vector files (SVG, PDF, EPS or AI) for the logo and graphics, scalable to any size
  • Pixel files (PNG with transparent background, JPG) for website and social media
  • Print PDFs with bleed and crop marks, if the printer requires them
  • Editable templates for social media or presentations
  • Typeface notes with source and licence information

On colour spaces: for print we work with CMYK, for screens with RGB. We use spot colours such as Pantone when the print job requires them. You therefore receive your brand colours as values for both worlds, so that the green on the label and on the screen looks as similar as possible. Print and screen are never physically identical, but we make sure they are carefully matched.

Why does a consistent brand presence matter for Google and AI?

Search engines and AI systems collect information about your business from many sources: your website, Google Business Profile, social media, directories. When name, logo, colours and statements are the same everywhere, your brand is easier to identify. With contradictory information, identification becomes harder. Nobody can guarantee this, but it is a simple foundation.

In practice, that means the same logo in all channels, a consistent spelling of the company name, the same core data and a recognisable image style. You can read more in our article Corporate design and consistency in AI search.

That is why we deliver not just the logo but also matching profile pictures, cover images and templates for your channels. This keeps your presence consistent even when different people create content later on.

How long does it take, and what do you need from me?

A logo is usually finished within a few weeks, a corporate design takes longer, and individual graphics often take only a few days. We set the specific schedule in the quote. In our experience, the biggest factor in timing is not the design but the feedback. The faster you give feedback, the sooner you are done.

This is what we need from you:

  1. A short briefing: what do you do, for whom, and what should the brand convey?
  2. Examples you like (and, gladly, what you do not like)
  3. Existing materials: old logo, texts, mandatory information, dimensions
  4. A contact person who is allowed to make decisions

Rounds of revisions: The quote states how many rounds of corrections are included. Small adjustments are a matter of course; fundamental changes of direction after approval mean additional effort, which we will raise beforehand.

Who owns the logo and files, and how may I use them?

On payment, you receive the agreed usage rights to the final designs. What exactly these are (duration, media, territory) is stated in the quote. In the normal case of a company logo, this is unlimited use in all your advertising and communication materials.

Good to know:

  • Designs that were not chosen stay with us and are not passed on to third parties.
  • Third-party elements such as typefaces, stock photos or pictograms are licensed. We tell you which licence applies and what it permits.
  • A trade mark or design protection search is legal advice and not part of the design work. If you want to protect your logo, we recommend a lawyer or the patent office.

If you have different wishes, such as an exclusive transfer of all rights, we will raise this openly before the project begins.

Which mistakes are common, and how do I choose a provider?

Typical mistakes:

  • The logo only exists as a small JPG and cannot be enlarged for print.
  • Too many colours and typefaces that do not add up to a system.
  • Fine details that disappear at small sizes or in social media profile pictures.
  • The logo only works on white, not on dark or coloured backgrounds.
  • Print files without bleed or in the wrong colour space.
  • A presence that differs from channel to channel.

How to recognise a good provider: They ask about your goal first, not your taste. They state price, rounds of revisions and rights in writing in advance. They deliver vector and print files, not just an image. And they show real applications rather than just attractive mockups. Take a look at our references and arrange a free initial consultation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions: Graphic Design Vienna

What does a logo cost in Vienna?

At digtatur, a logo starts from 390 € net, plus 20 % VAT. The price depends on how many variants and applications you need. The quote states price, rounds of revisions and scope of delivery in advance, so there are no additional demands later. A corporate design with a set of rules starts from 990 €.

How many drafts and rounds of corrections are included?

We set the number of design directions and rounds of revisions in the quote before the project starts. Small adjustments such as shades of colour, spacing or sizes are included in the rounds as a matter of course. If a completely new direction is wanted after approval, that is additional effort, which we will discuss with you beforehand.

Which files will I receive at the end?

You receive your logo and graphics as vector files (for example SVG and PDF) as well as PNG and JPG for web and social media. Print PDFs are added if agreed, and editable templates if needed. You can carry on without us or commission any printer.

What is the difference between CMYK and RGB?

CMYK is the colour space for print, RGB the one for screens. Screens can show more vivid colours than printing inks. That is why we define your brand colours for both areas. Print and screen never look completely identical, but with careful matching the impression stays very close.

Do you also design packaging and labels?

Yes. We design labels and packaging from 290 € net and coordinate the print files with your printer. Legally required information, for example on food, has to be supplied by you or your manufacturer. We plan the space for it, but we do not check the legal correctness of the content.

Who owns the logo after payment?

You receive the agreed usage rights to the final designs, normally unlimited in time for your business communication. Designs that were not chosen stay with us. Special wishes such as a full transfer of rights are clarified before the start and recorded in the quote, so that no ambiguities arise later.

Can I have my existing logo reworked?

Yes. Many businesses want to modernise their logo without losing recognition. We look at what works and what does not, and carefully rework shape, colours and variants. On request, we also show a bolder alternative so that you can compare.

Do you provide templates for social media?

Yes. We create templates for posts, stories and reel covers in the right formats, which you can fill in yourself. If you would rather not do anything yourself, we take over the ongoing design as part of our social media marketing, with one graphic per week already in the Start package.

How long does a logo or corporate design take?

A logo is usually finished within a few weeks, a corporate design takes correspondingly longer, and individual graphics often take only a few days. The schedule is stated in the quote. It depends heavily on how quickly you give feedback and whether texts, dimensions and materials are complete. The clearer the briefing, the shorter the production.

Do you also work with clients outside Vienna?

Yes. Graphic design can easily be handled online, so we work with clients across Austria. Briefing and coordination take place by video or phone call, we send drafts digitally, and print files go directly to your printer. On request, we can also advise in German and Turkish. A personal meeting in Vienna is possible at any time.
